PITTSBURGH, Pa. – JANUARY 3rd, 2019 – The Chatham University women's basketball team opened up 2019 with a 67-55 loss at Bethany this evening. With the loss, Chatham sits at 6-7 overall and 2-3 PAC.

Ashley McClain picked up her 1,000th point just one and a half minutes into the game. McClain finished with 10 points, five assists and three rebounds. Senior

Megan Sieg registered 17 points.

Olivia Barkley led the team with four steals, adding four rebounds.
At the end of the second quarter, Chatham held a 27-25 advantage over Bethany. The Bison overpowered the Cougars in the final 20 minutes to take the victory. The game saw eight lead changes and four tied scores. Chatham shot 91% from the free throw line.
