Chatham sweeps King's

PITTSBURGH, PA. – Jan. 26, 2019 – The Chatham University women's hockey team finished the sweep with a 4-1 victory over King's this weekend.
 
RECORDS: With the victory, Chatham moves to 7-13-0 overall, 4-9-0 UCHC while King's falls to 1-17-0 overall, 0-12-0 UCHC.
 
WHAT'S NEXT: Chatham heads to Elmira February 1st for a UCHC weekend matchup. 

SCORING SUMMARY: Chatham scored two goals in the first period. Sydney Collins scored the first goal on a power play just one minute into the game off an assist from Kerry Carr. King's answered back with a goal of their own at 16:29. Danielle Bos scored with 90 second remaining in the periods, thank to an assist from Kristina Block

The second period was scoreless on both sides of the ice. 

Chatham scores two goals in the third period to finish off the conference matchup. The Cougars scored at 4:56, Sydney Collins from Kristina Block and Kerry Carr. The final goal of the game was scored by Kristina Block at 15:11 from Sydney Collins

GOALTENDING: Devon Strachan secured the victory for the Cougars making 14 saves. 
 
SHOTS LEADER:
 Block and Collins led the Cougar attack with 12 shots on goal. Rowland added 11 shots on goal. 
 
FACEOFFS: Collins won a team best 18 draws in the circle.
