PITTSBURGH, Pa. – JANUARY 26th, 2019 – The Chatham University men's basketball team made a second half comeback at W&J this afternoon. The Cougars came out of top of a 62-57 decision in Washington, Pa. With the win, Chatham improves to 12-7 overall and 6-5 PAC. W&J falls to 8-12 overall, 6-5 PAC.
Anthony Bomar and
Buzz Walker finished with a game-high 18 points each. Bomar added eight rebounds and three assists. Walker shot 100% from the field (7-7 FG, 4-4 3PT).
Will Sandherr put up 16 points, three rebounds, and two assists.
Shawn Erceg led the team with 10 rebounds.
Marc Wells recorded eight rebounds.
Despite an early lead and a 12 point edge over Chatham at the half, W&J would falter in the final 20 minutes. The Cougars would outscore the Presidents 35-18 in the second half.
