Cougars tie Knights 1-1

Box Score PITTSBURGH, PA. – Jan. 13, 2019 – The Chatham University men's hockey team tied Neumann 1-1 after the NCAA regulation overtime. In a second 3v3 overtime, the Cougars fell to the Knights when Neumann found the back of the net two minutes in. With the loss, Chatham earns one point in UCHC standings while Neumann takes two. 
 
RECORDS: The Cougars move to 4-10-2 overall, 2-6-1 UCHC while Neumann is now 1-12-3 overall, 0-6-3 UCHC. 
 
WHAT'S NEXT: Chatham hosts Stevenson January 19th at the Frozen Pond Arena.  
 
SCORING SUMMARY: Neumann scored early in the first period on a power play. 

Johan Allingmon netted a short handed goal at 1:53 in the second period. 

After a scoreless third period, the teams headed to overtime. The first overtime was scoreless as well. In a second 3v3 overtime, the Knights scored to end the game. The game still counts as a tie. 

GOALTENDING: Matt Calas was in net for the Cougars recording 44 saves.
 
SHOTS LEADER: Michael Lamison led the team with seven shots. Cory King recorded five shots. 
 
FACEOFFS: Cory King went 18-9 in the face-off circle. Jason Bauer won 16 draws. The Cougars held a 51-45 face-off edge.
