Cougars fall (3-0) to Salisbury in first matchup in D.C.

Box Score PITTSBURGH, PA. – Sept. 7, 2018 – The Chatham University women's volleyball team fall to Salisbury (18-25, 15-25, 17-25) for a loss in the first matchup of the evening for non-conference play in D.C.
 
WHAT'S NEXT: The Cougars have a double-header tomorrow morning against Catholic and Wesley in D.C. Tip-off for game one is at 10:00 am.
 
LEADING THE ATTACK: Freshman outside hitter Emily Richie registered six kills while senior right side hitter Katelyn Gonos added five kills.
 
DISTRIBUTION LINE: Junior setter Mckenzie Bates dished a team high 12 assists. Bates recorded 3 digs.
 
BACK ROW PLAY: Freshman libero Emelia Zandier notched a team high 15 digs. Sophomore middle blocker Elivia Wagner and junior libero Sydney Stevens added six digs a piece.

AT THE NET: Katelyn Gonos led the team with one total block. The Cougars forced 13 attacking errors by the Sea Gulls.
