Box Score PITTSBURGH, PA. – Sept. 1, 2018 – The Chatham University women's volleyball team started strong against the Medaille Mavericks but ultimately fell 3-1 (25-19, 20-25, 16-25, 17-25) to wrap up the La Roche College Tournament.
WHAT'S NEXT: The Cougars kickoff conference play at Geneva on September 5th followed by a non-conference tournament in Washington DC over the weekend.
LEADING THE ATTACK: Senior outside hitter
Maggie Fleiner earned a team high nine kills. Senior outside hitter
McKenzie Bonnett and sophomore middle blocker
Elivia Wagner recorded eight and seven kills respectively. Wagner served three aces.
DISTRIBUTION LINE: Junior setter Mckenzie Bates and junior setter
Brooke Petrillo each dished out 14 assists. Petrillo notched 10 digs.
BACK ROW PLAY: Junior libero
Sydney Stevens registered a team high 13 digs.
AT THE NET: Wagner led the team with two solo blocks and three block assists. The Cougars forced 24 attacking errors by the Mavericks.
