Women’s Hockey Ends 2018 Season with 4-2 Win at Lebanon Valley

Box Score HERSHEY, PA – Feb. 18, 2018 – First-year forward Dahea Chung (Centreville, Va./Reston Raiders) tallied two goals as the Chatham University women's hockey team ended the 2017-18 campaign on a four-game winning streak, defeating Lebanon Valley 4-2 on Sunday afternoon.
 
RECORDS: Chatham ends the season at 7-14-2 (4-12-0 UCHC) while the Flying Dutchmen finish the year at 2-19-2 (1-14-1 UCHC).
 
SCORING SUMMARY: Chung found the back of the net at 6:23 in the first, thanks to assists from sophomore forward Holly Ackerman (East Rockaway, N.Y./Portledge School) and senior defender Lyndsey Gallaway (Wooster, Ohio/Ohio Flames), to put the Cougars ahead 1-0.
 
Chung tallied her second of the day less than three minutes later to put Chatham ahead 2-0, off helpers from Ackerman and senior defender Emma McFarlane (Ottawa, Ont./Perth Predators).
 
Following a Lebanon Valley score, first-year defender Danielle Bos (Niagara Falls, N.Y./Buffalo Bison) put the Cougars ahead 3-1 at 16:15 in the second, thanks to feeds from senior forward Cassidy Colhoun (Kincardine, Ont./Saugeen-Mailland Lightning) and first-year forward Sydney Collins (Wake Forest, N.C./Northwood Prep).
 
The Flying Dutchmen got to within one, 3-2, until an unassisted goal by junior forward Kirajean Frost (Harvard, Mass./Boston Shamrocks) put Chatham ahead 4-2 at 15:32 in the third.
 
GOALTENDING: Senior netminder Sydney Isbell (Thunder Bay, Ont./Thunder Bay Queens) made 13 saves, including eight in the final period.
 
SHOTS LEADER: Senior defender Kasandra Petersen (Faribault, Minn./Minnesota Blades) led the offense with a game-high 15 shots.
 
FACEOFFS: Colhoun won a game-best 17 draws for Chatham.
