PITTSBURGH, Pa. – DECEMBER 17th, 2018 – Chatham will head into break with a 70-52 victory over Mount Aloysius to improve to 6-5 overall this season. 

Senior Ashley McClainpicked up a team-high 20 points, senior Katie Siegscored 17 points, and graduate student Megan Sieg added 16 points. Katie Sieg chipped in a team-high seven rebounds and seven assists. Megan Sieg led the team with three steals. First-year Aliyah Labriola finished with five rebounds. 

At the end of the first quarter, Chatham held an impressive 25-9 edge over Mount Aloysius. Headed into halftime, the Cougars maintained a 44-24 lead. In the first half, Chatham shot 53% from the field and 52% from beyond the arc. A strong Cougar defense forced the Mounties to shoot just 21% from beyond the arc and 31% overall.
