PITTSBURGH, PA. – Nov. 25, 2018 – The Chatham University women's hockey team falls to Aurora 3-5 this afternoon at Frozen Pond Arena.
 
RECORDS: The Cougars fall to 3-6 while the Spartans improve to 3-4-3.
 
WHAT'S NEXT: Chatham travels to Rochester, NY November 30th to face Nazareth. Puck drop is set for 3:30pm.
 
SCORING SUMMARY: Chatham scored two goals in the first period. Both goals were scored by senior Jillian Rowland.
The first goal happening with 15:25 on a power play, thanks to an assist from senior Michelle Jones. The second goal happened at 18:55, unassisted.

In the second period, the Spartans scored three goals and Chatham couldn't find the back of the net.

In the third period, the Spartans scored an empty net goal at 18:40. Also in the third period, Chatham scored a goal thanks to extra-attacker, Michelle Jones, thanks to an assist from senior captain KiraJean Frost.

GOALTENDING: Freshman Katy Reed suffered the defeat for the Cougars making 18 saves, including 11 in the second period. Junior netminder Devon Strachan substituted in for Reed to start the third period, making 15 saves for Chatham.
 
SHOTS LEADER: Senior Jillian Rowland led the Chatham attack with seven shots on goal.
 
FACEOFFS: Junior captain Madison Black won 19 draws in the circle.
