PITTSBURGH, Pa. – NOVEMBER 13th, 2018 – Chatham pulled away from local rival Carnegie Mellon 88-70 this evening. The Cougars improve to 2-0, while the Tartans fall to 0-1.
Alex Schoppen led five Cougars in double figures with 24 points while
Isaiah Brown added 17,
Will Sandherr scored 15,
Anthony Bomar notched 14 and
Shawn Erceg chipped in 10 points.
Chatham set the pace of the game early on. The Cougars shot 55% from the field in the first half and 50% from beyond the arc. In the second half, Chatham shot an impressive 58%. .
Chatham was credited with 24 assists led by 10 from
Anthony Bomar and four from
Alex Schoppen, Will Sandherr and Shawn Erceg.

The Cougars travel to Meadville, Pa. to compete in the Greg Richards '08 Memorial Classic this weekend. Chatham takes on Bluffton Friday and Allegheny Saturday.
