Comeback attempt falls short at W&J

Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa. – JANUARY 6th, 2018 – The Cougar comeback attempt fell short to the Presidents giving W&J their first conference win of the year.  
 
KEY PLAYERS: Logan Hunter led Chatham in scoring with 13 points. Hunter tallied three rebounds and shot 5-9 from the field. Will Sandherr came off the bench to add 12 points, four rebounds and four assists. Alex Schoppen chipped in 10 points, five rebounds and two assists. Nasir Alexander scored nine points. Curtis Perz added five rebounds for the team.    
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: The two teams were back and forth seeing four tied scores and 10 lead changes. At the half, the score was 27-25 with W&J up by two. Chatham earned 22 points off of 15 W&J turnovers. The bench added 35 points for the Cougars.    
 
WHAT'S NEXT: Chatham hosts the Geneva Golden Tornadoes on January 10th at 8 pm.

Chatham will add women's lacrosse beginning play in 2017-2018. Chatham has added five men's sports competing this academic year: baseball, basketball, cross country, swimming & diving, track & field. Chatham will add two more men's varsity sports beginning play in 2017-2018; ice hockey and lacrosse.
