King Tallies Power Play Goal in 6-1 Loss to Neumann

PITTSBURGH, PA – Jan. 19, 2018 – First-year forward Cory King (Albuquerque, N.M./Oklahoma City Blazers) tallied the opening goal in Friday's UCHC contest against Neumann, but the Chatham University men's hockey team fell to the Knights 6-1 at Frozen Pond Arena.
 
RECORDS: Chatham falls to 1-12-3, 1-7-0 UCHC while the Knights move to 5-11-1, 5-3-1 UCHC.
 
WHAT'S NEXT: The Cougars will host Stevenson tomorrow night at 7:20 pm.
 
SCORING SUMMARY: Following King's unassisted power play goal eight minutes into the first period, Neumann tacked on four goals in the second and two more in the third, enjoying three man-advantage scores.
 
GOALTENDING: Junior netminder Trever Ralph (Red Bank, N.J./New Jersey Jr. Titans) suffered the defeat, despite making 35 stops, including 13 in the opening session.
 
SHOTS LEADER: Five different players tallied three shots apiece to lead the Chatham attack.
 
FACEOFFS: First-year forward Daniel Cangelosi (Rockaway, N.J./New England Wolves) won 10 draws for the Cougars.
