GROVE CITY, Pa. – Sept. 28, 2017 – The Chatham University women's volleyball team fell at Grove City 3-1 (25-27, 16-25, 25-18, 23-25) in Presidents' Athletic Conference action on Thursday night.
RECORDS: Chatham falls to 7-6, 1-6 PAC while Grove City moves to 6-10, 4-3 PAC.
WHAT'S NEXT: The Cougars host PAC foe W&J on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 2 pm followed by another PAC home match against Thomas More on Sunday, Oct. 1 at 1 pm.
RELIABLE LASHER: Sophomore outside hitter
Justyne Lasher (Ford City, Pa./Armstrong) led the Cougars with 14 kills.
CAN YOU DIG IT?: Four Cougars enjoyed double-digit dig outings as first-year libero
Makenah Zitko (Hershey, Pa./Hershey) led the way with 17. Sophomore setter
Mckenzie Bates (Lancaster, Ohio/Lancaster), Lasher and sophomore outside hitter
Belen Brown (Monaca, Pa./Central Valley) followed with 14, 12, and 10 digs, respectively.
DISHING IT OUT: Bates led the offense with 22 assists.
