CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. - Sept. 23, 2017 - The Chatham University women's volleyball program split on Saturday in Presidents' Athletic Conference action, defeating Waynesburg 3-0 before dropping to host Thomas More 3-0.
RECORDS: The Cougars move to 7-5, 1-5 PAC. Waynesburg is 1-12, 0-7 PAC while Thomas More is 12-4, 5-0 PAC.
WHAT'S NEXT: Chatham remains on the road in PAC action on Thursday, Sept. 28, playing at Grove City at 7 pm.
WAYNESBURG WIN: Sophomore outside hitter
Justyne Lasher (Ford City, Pa./Armstrong) enjoyed an outstanding match, tallying a contest-best 11 kills while hitting .529 (11-2-17). Lasher also notched eight digs, five assists and four aces.
Five players tallied at least four kills for the Cougars with first-year middle blocker
Elivia Wagner (Erie, Pa./McDowell) providing the attack with seven kills and four aces.

Emily Brozenick (Pittsburgh, Pa./Carlynton) orchestrated the offense with 12 assists while sophomore libero
Sydney Stevens (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) led the back row with nine digs.
THOMAS MORE DEFEAT: Junior outside hitter
Maggie Fleiner (McKees Rocks, Pa./Montour) led the Cougars with seven kills while sophomore outside hitter
Belen Brown (Monaca, Pa./Central Valley)Â chipped in six kills and 11 digs.
Sophomore setter
Mckenzie Bates (Lancaster, Ohio/Lancaster) enjoyed 13 assists while Stevens tallied 10 digs on the defensive end.
