PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Sept. 20, 2017 - The Chatham University women's volleyball team fell to visiting Bethany 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-23) in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Wednesday night.
WHAT'S ON TAP: The Cougars (6-4, 0-4 PAC) will travel to Kentucky and face Waynesburg and Thomas More in PAC action on Saturday, Sept. 23, starting at 1 pm. Bethany improves to 7-5, 3-1 PAC.
STATISTICAL LEADERS: Sophomore outside hitter
Justyne Lasher (Ford City, Pa./Armstrong) enjoyed a match-high 11 kills, while chipping in nine digs, three assists and one block assist.
First-year middle blocker
Elivia Wagner (Erie, Pa./McDowell) floored eight kills on 16 attempts (.375) while sophomore setter
Mckenzie Bates (Lancaster, Ohio/Lancaster) dished out 14 assists while aiding with 10 digs.
Sophomore setter
Brooke Petrillo (Derry, Pa./Derry Area) dished out eight helpers and sophomore libero
Sydney Stevens (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) paced the defense with 13 digs.
Junior middle blocker Mckenzie Bonnett (Champaign, Ill./Centennial) and sophomore outside hitter
Belen Brown (Monaca, Pa./Central Valley) combined for six total blocks at the net.
