PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Sept. 15, 2017 - The Chatham women's volleyball team enjoyed a 2-0 Friday night with home victories over visiting Oberlin (W, 3-0) and Pitt Greensburg (W, 3-1) to improve to 6-3 on the year.
WHAT'S NEXT: The Cougars (6-3, 0-3 PAC) will host conference foe Bethany on Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 7 pm.
OBERLIN OVERVIEW:Â Sophomore outside hitter
Justyne Lasher (Ford City, Pa./Armstrong)Â and junior outside hitter
Maggie Fleiner (McKees Rocks, Pa./Montour) led the attack with 12 and 11 kills.
Sophomore setter
Mckenzie Bates (Lancaster, Ohio/Lancaster) distributed 19 assists while sophomore libero
Sydney Stevens (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway)Â led the defense with 16 digs.
BOBCAT BRIEFING: The Cougars enjoyed a 3-1 win over the Pitt Greensburg Bobcats, including a 25-6 win in set number three.
First-year middle blocker
Elivia Wagner (Erie, Pa./McDowell) led the charge with nine kills.
Junior setter
Emily Brozenick (Pittsburgh, Pa./Carlynton) dished out 20 assists while first-year libero
Makenah Zitko (Hershey, Pa./Hershey) tallied 18 digs.
