Box Score UTICA, N.Y. – FEBRUARY 4th, 2017 – The Chatham Cougars fell to the Utica College Pioneers 3-1.   
 
The Basics

How it happened
  • Kristina Block would put Chatham on the board first at 6:54 in the first period with an unassisted goal.
  • Utica would answer back with two goals of their own, one in the first period and one in the second.
  • Erika Martin would tie the game with a power play goal assisted by Jillian Rowland and McKenzie Haskins.
  • Utica would win the game with a final goal at 13:17 in the third period.
  • Block, Martin and Kasandra Petersen each took three shots on goal.
  • Kirajean Frost and Jenny Jones won 10 face offs apiece.
 
In the goal
  • Sydney Isbell was in the net for the Cougars facing 43 shots with three goals against.

  • The Cougars are back on the ice February 10th when they host SUNY Cortland at 5:30 pm for another ECAC West matchup.

Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA is a member of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) and offers nine Division III women's sports and seven men's sports. Women's sports at Chatham include basketball, cross country, ice hockey, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, track & field, and volleyball. Chatham will add women's lacrosse beginning play in 2017-2018. Chatham has added five men's sports competing this academic year: baseball, basketball, cross country, swimming & diving, track & field. Chatham will add two more men's varsity sports beginning play in 2017-2018; ice hockey and lacrosse.
