How it happened

Kristina Block would put Chatham on the board first at 6:54 in the first period with an unassisted goal.
Utica would answer back with two goals of their own, one in the first period and one in the second.
Erika Martin would tie the game with a power play goal assisted by Jillian Rowland and McKenzie Haskins.
Utica would win the game with a final goal at 13:17 in the third period.
Block, Martin and Kasandra Petersen each took three shots on goal.
Kirajean Frost and Jenny Jones won 10 face offs apiece.

Sydney Isbell was in the net for the Cougars facing 43 shots with three goals against.
