Strong fourth quarter not enough for Cougars to take down Presidents

Box Score WASHINGTON, Pa. – FEBRUARY 3^rd, 2017 – A strong fourth quarter was not enough to take down the W&J President as the Cougars fell 63-59.

Key Players

Leading the Cougars in scoring was sophomore Katelyn Sieg (Pittsburgh, Pa./Serra Catholic) recording 22 points. Sieg finished with seven steals and five assists.
Sophomore Ashley McClain (Hollidaysburg, Pa./Hollidaysburg) totaled 11 points, five rebounds and six steals.
Sophomore Megan Sieg (Pittsburgh, Pa./Serra Catholic) earned 10 points in nine minutes shooting 2-3 from beyond the arc.
Senior Jesse Hinkle (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) tabbed 13 rebounds.

Inside the numbers

In the first ten minutes of play, the game saw four tied scores and two lead changes. After the first quarter however, Chatham was unable to overcome W&J.
