Chatham defeated by W&J 75-58

Box Score WASHINGTON, Pa. – FEBRUARY 4th, 2017 – The Chatham Cougars were defeated by the Washington & Jefferson Presidents 75-58.

  • Junior Logan Hunter (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield Area) led the Cougars in scoring with a season high 18 points.
  • Sophomore Alex Schoppen (Gibsonia, Pa./Pittsburgh Central Catholic) finished with 11 points.
  • Sophomore Josh Randall (Mckees Rock, Pa./Montour) totaled seven points while sophomore Isaiah Brown (Scott, Ark./North Pulaski) tabbed six.
  • Sophomore Anthony Bomar (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) led Chatham in assists and steal with six and four respectively.
 
Inside the numbers
  • Chatham had a two point lead heading into the second half but W&J would dominate the final twenty minutes.
  • The Cougars scored 21 points off of 19 forced President turnovers.

Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA is a member of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) and offers nine Division III women's sports and seven men's sports. Chatham will add women's lacrosse beginning play in 2017-2018. Chatham has added five men's sports competing this academic year: baseball, basketball, cross country, swimming & diving, track & field. Chatham will add two more men's varsity sports beginning play in 2017-2018; ice hockey and lacrosse.
