Cougars Fall to Bison

Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa. – FEBRUARY 15TH, 2017 – The Chatham Cougars fell to the Bethany Bison 83-48.

Key Players
  • The Sieg sisters, junior Megan Sieg and sophomore Katelyn Sieg (Pittsburgh, Pa./Serra Catholic), led the Cougars in scoring with 13 points apiece.
  • Senior Jesse Hinkle (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) finished with nine rebounds for the team high.
  • First Year Sierra Ungerman (North Hills, Pa./North Hills) added six rebounds and three assists.
 
Inside the numbers
  • The Cougars were up one point at the end of the first quarter.
  • Chatham forced 11 Bethany turnovers for 14 points.
  • The bench added 10 points for the team.

Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA is a member of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) and offers nine Division III women's sports and seven men's sports. Women's sports at Chatham include basketball, cross country, ice hockey, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, track & field, and volleyball. Chatham will add women's lacrosse beginning play in 2017-2018. Chatham has added five men's sports competing this academic year: baseball, basketball, cross country, swimming & diving, track & field. Chatham will add two more men's varsity sports beginning play in 2017-2018; ice hockey and lacrosse.
