Strong second half not enough for Chatham to top Bethany

Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa. – FEBRUARY 15th, 2017 – A strong second half was not enough for Chatham as the Cougars fell to the Bethany Bison 71-70.

Key Players
  • Sophomore Isaiah Brown (Scott, Ark./North Pulaski) led Chatham in scoring with 22 points. He went 5-8 from beyond the arc and added three rebounds.
  • Sophomore Josh Randall (Mckees Rock, Pa./Montour) finished with 16 points, going 5-9 from the field and 4-4 from the free throw line. Randall chipped in three rebounds and two assists.
  • Sophomore Alex Schoppen (Gibsonia, Pa./Pittsburgh Central Catholic) recorded 11 points and three rebounds. 
  • Sophomore Anthony Bomar (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) tallied eight points with six rebounds, five assists and four steals.

Chatham will add women's lacrosse beginning play in 2017-2018. Chatham has added five men's sports competing this academic year: baseball, basketball, cross country, swimming & diving, track & field. Chatham will add two more men's varsity sports beginning play in 2017-2018; ice hockey and lacrosse.
