How it happened

Cortland would be first on the board with a goal at 3:36 in the first period.
McKenzie Haskins would score for the Cougars on a power play with an assist from Kasandra Petersen at 6:10 in the second period.
The Cougars would take the lead early in the third period with a goal by Kirajean Frost, assisted by Holly Ackerman and Lyndsey Gallaway.
The Red Dragons would manage to tie the game at 12:34 in the final period and then edge Chatham for the win with a final goal at 18:59.
Jenny Jones went 15-of-22 on faceoffs, while Erika Martin won eight draws.
The Cougars dominated the first period outshooting Cortland 12-4.
Leading Chatham in shots on goal was Kasandra Petersen with five.
Jillian Rowland, McKenzie Haskins, and Kristina Block each took three shots apiece.

Sydney Isbell was in the net for the Cougars making 16 saves.
