Kasandra Petersen (Faribault, Minn./Minnesota Blades) notched both goals for the Chatham University women's hockey team on Saturday, but the Cougars fell to No. 2 Elmira 11-2 at Alpha Ice Complex.
RECORDS: Chatham falls to 3-7, 0-6 UCHC while the Soaring Eagles remain unscathed at 9-0, 6-0 UCHC.
WHAT'S NEXT: The Cougars will hit the road, playing at Aurora on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 3 pm CDT.
SCORING SUMMARY: Elmira jumped out to an 8-0 before Petersen got the Cougars on the scoreboard, blasting a slap shot directly off the faceoff for Chatham's first goal, thanks to an assist from junior forward
Kristina Block (Scarborough, Maine/North Yarmouth Academy).
Trailing 11-1 in the waning seconds of the game, Petersen tallied her second goal of the day, off an assist from senior forward
Cassidy Colhoun (Kincardine, Ont./Saugeen-Mailland Lightning).

SHOTS LEADER: Petersen led the Chatham attack with four shots.
