Cangelosi Scores in Chatham's 4-1 Loss at Trine

ANGOLA, IND. – Dec. 15, 2017 – First-year forward Daniel Cangelosi (Rockaway, N.J./New England Wolves) tallied the lone goal for the Chatham University men's hockey team on Friday night but the Cougars fell 4-1 at Trine in non-conference action.
 
RECORDS: The Cougars drop to 1-8-2 overall while the Thunder pick up their first win of the year, moving to 1-9-2 on the season.
 
WHAT'S NEXT: Both teams will wrap up the weekend series tomorrow, with the puck dropping at 4 pm.
 
SCORING SUMMARY: The Thunder tallied a goal in the first, two scores in the second and one in the third to take a 4-0 lead.
 
Cangelosi found the back of the net with less than three minutes in regulation to ruin the shutout bid, thanks to an assist from first-year forward Kirk Underwood (Littleton, Colo./Connecticut Nighthawks).
 
GOALTENDING: First-year netminder Zach Young (St. Louis, Mo./Long Beach Sharks) earned his first career start, making 32 stops.
 
SHOTS LEADER: First-year forward Kevin Fees (Findlay, Ohio/Wichita Falls) led the Chatham attack with five shots on target.
 
FACEOFFS: Cangelosi led the squad with seven faceoff wins.

Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA is a member of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) and offers nine Division III women's sports and seven men's sports.
