ELMIRA, N.Y. – Dec. 1, 2017 – The Chatham men's hockey team dropped a 5-2 decision at UCHC opponent Elmira on Friday night.
RECORDS: The Cougars fall to 0-6-2, 0-5-0 UCHC while the Soaring Eagles move to 5-5-1, 3-3-1 UCHC.
WHAT'S NEXT: Chatham returns home to host UCHC opponents Manhattanville and first-year program King's on Dec. 8-9.

Chad Bell (Port McNeill, B.C./Nanaimo Buccaneers) and first-year defenseman
Andrew Breda (Maple, Ont./St. Michaels Buzzers) to give Chatham the early lead.
After Elmira knotted the game at 1-1 in the first, sophomore forward
Jace Burton (Aurora, Ill./Philadelphia Jr. Flyers) found the back of the net, thanks to dishes from first-year defenseman
Eric Williams (Henderson, Nev./Ontario Avalanche) and sophomore forward
Clay Plyler (Pittsburgh, Pa./New England Wolves), to hand the lead back to Chatham, 2-1.
However, Elmira went on to score four unanswered goals to close out the contest.
GOALTENDING: Junior netminder
Trever Ralph (Red Bank, N.J./New Jersey Jr. Titans) finished with 41 saves despite the loss.
SHOTS LEADER: Plyler led the Chatham rush with four shots on goal.
FACEOFFS: First-year forward
Eric Hildebrand (Robbinsville, N.J./East Coast Wizards) won a team-high eight draws for the Cougars.
