Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa. – NOVEMBER 29th, 2017 – The Chatham men's basketball team nearly overcame an 18 point deficit in the final minutes before falling 62-61 to Westminster in PAC action this evening.
KEY PLAYERS: Isaiah Brown led the Cougars in scoring with 18 points. Brown added four rebounds. Will Sandherr totaled nine points, three rebounds, three steals and two assists. Josh Randall finished with eight points, two rebounds and two steals. In his first start for the Cougars, Curtis Perz led the team in rebounds with seven. Perz added five points, shooting 100% from the free throw line.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: Westminster had an 18-point lead with just over eight minutes left in the game but Chatham was able to get within one point with 14 seconds left after a 23-6 run. Westminster sealed the win after the Cougars were unable to get a shot off as time expired.
The Cougars forced 27 Titan turnovers for 18 points. The bench added 28 points for the Chatham. Every Cougar except one to take the court added at least two points for the team.
