PITTSBURGH, PA. – Nov. 18, 2017 – The Chatham University men's hockey team dropped a 13-1 decision to No. 13 Utica on Saturday night at Frozen Pond Arena.
RECORDS: The Cougars drop to 0-5-1, 0-4-0 UCHC while the Pioneers improve to 4-2-0, 2-2-0 UCHC.
WHAT'S NEXT: Chatham remains at home to host Morrisville State in non-conference action on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 7:20 pm.
SCORING SUMMARY: Utica scored the first six goals of the game before Chatham got on the scoreboard when sophomore forward
Jace Burton (Aurora, Ill./Philadelphia Jr. Flyers) tallied a goal off an assist from sophomore defenseman
Jake Reed (Chatham, Ont./Soo Thunderbirds) to ruin the Pioneers' shutout bid.
The Pioneers went on to score seven unanswered goals after that point, however.
GOALTENDING: First-year netminder
Matt Calas (Mississauga, Ont./Ancaster Avalanche) earned the start and finished with 20 saves in 24:47 of action. Senior
Morgan Hudson (Ottawa, Ont./Port Colborne) wrapped up the game in relief, tallying 32 saves, including 22 in the third period

Daniel Cangelosi (Rockaway, N.J./New England Wolves) won a team-high 10 draws for Chatham.
