Cougars Fall to Crusaders

Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa. – NOVEMBER 18th, 2017 – The Chatham University Men's Basketball team is now 1-1 after falling to the Capital Crusaders on the road this evening.

KEY PLAYERS: Curtis Perz led Chatham in scoring with 16 points after coming off the bench. Perz went 5-9 from the field and 4-4 from the charity stripe. Josh Randall tallied 12 points, four rebounds and two assists. Starter Isaiah Brown finished with ten points for the Cougars. Anthony Bomar led the team in assists with four. Nasir Alexander earned a Chatham high three steals.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: The Cougar bench scored 44 points for the team. As a whole, Chatham made 17-of-20 free throws. The Cougars scored 15 points off of 19 forced Crusader turnovers. Chatham pulled down more offensive rebounds than Capital leading to 13 second chance points.

WHAT'S NEXT: The Cougars are back on the court Tuesday November 21st when they host the Bearcats of Saint Vincent in a conference matchup.

Chatham will add women's lacrosse beginning play in 2017-2018. Chatham has added five men's sports competing this academic year: baseball, basketball, cross country, swimming & diving, track & field. Chatham will add two more men's varsity sports beginning play in 2017-2018; ice hockey and lacrosse.
