How it happened

The Cougars outshot the Bearcats 17-6.
First year Kyla Kelley (Tarentum, Pa./Highlands) scored the game winning goal at 54:22 off of a header, assisted by sophomore Emily Nolan (Imperial, Pa./West Allegheny).
Kelley led the team with six shots and three shots on goal.
Junior Katie Sieg (Pittsburgh, Pa./Serra Catholic) and junior Katherine Luteri (Somerset, Pa./Somerset) each tallied three shots.

In the goal

First Year Ashley Bergman (Allison Park, Pa./Hampton) was in the net for the Cougars. She earned her seventh career shutout.
Bergman faced zero shots on goal thanks to the strong Chatham defense.
