Chatham Defeats Waynesburg 2-0

Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa. – OCTOBER 17^th, 2017 – The Chatham Cougars defeated the Yellow Jackets of Waynesburg with a final score of 2-0.

How it happened

The Cougars outshot the Yellow Jackets 11-8.
Junior Katherine Luteri (Somerset, Pa./Somerset) scored Chatham's first goal at 30:41 with an assist from sophomore Victoria Vernail (Purcellville, Va./Loudon Valley).
Vernail would score a goal of her own at 41:40 for the Cougars.
Vernail led the team with five shots and four shots on goal.

In the goal

First Year Ashley Bergman (Allison Park, Pa./Hampton) was in the net for the Cougars. She made six saves in her fifth career shutout.
