Cougars Down Presidents

Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa – JANUARY 7^th, 2016 – The Chatham Cougars defeated the Washington and Jefferson Presidents 77-69. The Cougars are now 6-6 in Division III play and have the most wins in program history.

Key Players

Leading the Cougars in scoring was sophomore Josh Randall (Mckees Rock, Pa./Montour) with a career high 23 points. Randall shot 54% from the field and went 8-9 from the free throw line. He added seven rebounds and two steals.
Sophomore Isaiah Brown (Scott, Ark./North Pulaski) and junior Logan Hunter (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield Area) each chipped in 12 points apiece.
Hunter grabbed his first double-double of the season with 12 rebounds.
Sophomore Anthony Bomar (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) led the team in assists with six. Bomar tallied five rebounds and went 5-6 from the free throw line.

Inside the numbers

Chatham came back from a 12 point deficit in the beginning of the first half to have the lead 36-31 by halftime.
The Cougars went on to outscore the Presidents 41-38 in the second half.
Chatham outrebounded W&J 39-35.
The bench scored 33 points for the team.
Chatham earned 25 points off of 15 President turnovers.
