Chatham bested at home by Saint Vincent 75-61

Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa. – JANUARY 21st, 2016 – The Chatham Cougars lost to the Saint Vincent Bearcats 75-61.

  • Records: Chatham (8-9, 4-6 PAC) Saint Vincent (12-4, 8-1 PAC)
  • Location: Athletic and Fitness Center at Chatham University.
 
Key Players
  • Leading the Cougars in scoring was sophomore Josh Randall (Mckees Rock, Pa./Montour) finishing with 16 points. Randall added five rebounds, three assists and two steals.
  • Junior Logan Hunter (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield Area) recorded 12 points, and three rebounds.
  • Sophomore Anthony Bomar (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) finished with 11 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and three steals.
 
Inside the numbers
  • The Cougars were down by nine heading into the second half.
  • Chatham would come back from a 24 point deficit to finish the game 75-61.
  • The Cougars outrebounded the Bearcats 31-30.
  • The bench scored 30 points for the team.
  • Chatham earned 22 points off of 16 Saint Vincent turnovers.

Chatham will add two more men's varsity sports beginning play in 2017-2018; ice hockey and lacrosse.
