Cougars Fall Short to Bison 64-61

Box Score BETHANY, W.Va. – JANUARY 18th, 2016 – The Chatham Cougars fell short to the Bethany Bison 64-61.    
 
The Basics
  • Records: Chatham (8-8, 4-5 PAC) Bethany (11-5, 6-3 PAC)
  • Location: Hummel Fieldhouse at Bethany College.
 
Key Players
  • Sophomore Josh Randall (Mckees Rock, Pa./Montour) led Chatham in points with 13. Randall went 4-6 from the field, 3-4 from beyond the arc and 2-2 at the free throw line. He added three assists and three rebounds.
  • Junior Logan Hunter (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield Area) was close behind with 12 points.
  • Sophomore Anthony Bomar (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) finished with 11 points, seven rebounds, four steals and three assists.
  • Sophomore Alex Schoppen (Gibsonia, Pa./Pittsburgh Central Catholic) and junior Reggie Rogers (Sweet Home, Ark./Wilbur D. Mills University Studies) recorded nine and eight points respectively.
 
Inside the numbers
  • The Cougars led the Bison going into the second half 36-30.
  • The game showed nine lead changes and five tied scores. Six of those lead changes were in the second half.
  • Chatham earned 20 points off of 17 forced Bethany turnovers.
  • The bench would contribute 23 points for the Cougars.

Chatham will add two more men's varsity sports beginning play in 2017-2018; ice hockey and lacrosse.
