Cougars Hockey drops season finale to Neumann

Box Score ASTON, PA - FEBRUARY 20th, 2016 -- The Chatham University Women's Ice Hockey team dropped the final game of the season to Neumann University 3-2. Chatham finished the 2015-16 season with a record of 8-15-1, and 4-13-1 in the ECAC-West Conference.

The Cougars gave up the first goal to the Knights midway through the first period, then with 1:18 left in the period Emma McFarlane (Ottawa, ONT /Perth Predators) found the back of the net to tie the game. Kasandra Petersen (Faribault, Minn. / Minnesota Blades) netted a goal in the second period to give the Cougars a 2-1 lead. The Knights would respond to tie the game at two before the end of the period. Neumann would score the final goal in the third to win the game 3-2

Chatham Sophomore Goaltender Sydney Isbell (Thunder Bay, ONT / Thunder Bay Queens) would face 24 Neumann shots in the game, and save 21 of them.
