- Junior Kasandra Petersen (Fairbault, MN/Minnesota Blades) netted the first goal of the game giving Chatham a 1-0 lead
- Senior Kaitlyn Perrins (Calgary, ALB/Notre Dame Hounds) broke an eventual 1-1 tie with her first goal of the season.
In the goal
- Junior Sydney Isbell (Thunder Bay, ONT/Thunder Bay Queens) bounced back, stopping 25 of 27 Heron shots in route to the tie.

- The Cougars hit the road to face Johnson & Wales this coming Thanksgiving weekend. The first of the two game series is scheduled for 1:55 pm Saturday.
