Chatham Falls to Capital 83-50

Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa – NOVEMBER 18th, 2016 – The Chatham Cougars men's basketball team fell to the Capital Crusaders 83-50.

Key Players
  • Junior Reginald Rogers (Sweet Home, Ark. / Wilbur D. Mills University Studies) led the Cougars in scoring grabbing 12 points tonight. Rogers added three rebounds, two steals and one assist.
  • Sophomore Alex Schoppen (Gibsonia, Pa. / Pittsburgh Central Catholic) and sophomore Isaiah Brown (Scott, Ark. / North Pulaski) each recorded seven points apiece.
  • Junior Logan Hunter (Greensburg, Pa. / Hempfield Area) had the team high seven rebounds.
  • Sophomore Josh Randall (Mckees Rock, Pa. / Montour) chipped in four rebounds and two steals.
 
Inside the numbers
  • At the half, Chatham trailed 38-27.
  • The Cougars scored 19 points off of 15 forced Crusaders turnovers.
  • The bench scored 25 points for the team.
 
Up next
  • On Saturday, Chatham travels to Saint Francis University. November 22nd the Cougars host Penn State Beaver at 8 pm.

Chatham will add two more men's varsity sports beginning play in 2017-2018; ice hockey and lacrosse.
