Chatham Suffers Loss at Elmira

Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa – NOVEMBER 11^th, 2016 – The Chatham Cougars took on Elmira last night for the first game of the weekend series. The Cougars fell 7-1.

How it happened

Sophomore KJ Frost (Harvard, Mass./Boston Shamrocks) would put the Cougars on the board in the second period on a power play, assisted by junior Kasandra Petersen (Faribault, Minn./Minnesota Blades) and sophomore Kristina Block (Scarborough, Maine/North Yarmouth Academy).
Junior Cassidy Colhoun (Kincardine, ONT/Saugeen-Mailland Lightning), Frost, Block, and sophomore Jillian Rowland (St. Louis, Mo./Chicago Fury) would each take two shots a piece.

In the goal

Junior goaltender Sydney Isbell (Thunder Bay, ONT/Thunder Bay Queens) started for the Cougars and would play the entire three periods. Isbell recorded 50 saves in 60 minutes.
