Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa – OCTOBER 26th, 2016 – The Chatham Cougars topped the Saint Vincent Bearcats in the last few minutes of regulation, winning 1-0.

  • Records: Chatham (6-2 PAC, 11-3-2 overall) Saint Vincent (2-5-1 PAC, 3-8-5 overall)
  • Location: Ellis Field in Pittsburgh, Pa.      
 
How it happened
  • Chatham took 16 shots, 11 on frame, this evening.
  • Sophomore Julie Bruening (Madison, Ohio/Madison) scored the game winning goal in the 85th minute unassisted.
  • Junior Megan Sieg (Pittsburgh, Pa./Serra Catholic) lead the Cougars in shots with four.
  • Bruening and Sophomore Anne Radzanowski (Pittsburgh, Pa./Chartiers Valley) finished with three shots a piece.
 
In the goal
  • Sophomore Emmory Tardivo earned the shutout this evening playing all 90 minutes. She recorded seven saves.
 
Up next
  • The Cougars are back in action when they host Grove City on October 29th for their Senior Game. First kick is at 1 pm.

Chatham will add two more men's varsity sports beginning play in 2017-2018; ice hockey and lacrosse.
