Strong Second Half Not Enough For Chatham; Defeated 66-55

Box Score PITTSBURGH, PA - JANUARY 30th, 2016 -- The Chatham University Men's Basketball team hosted the Presidents of Washington and Jefferson College. The Cougars were defeated by the Presidents 66-55. Chatham is now 4-15 overall and 4-8 in PAC. This marks the first career win for Head Coach Ethan Stewart-Smith.

First Year Guard Anthony Bomar (Bethel Park, Pa / Bethel Park) led the Cougars in scoring tonight with 12 points. Bomar would also grab 7 rebounds, and go 4-4 from the foul line. First Year Guard Isaiah Brown (Scott, Ark. / North Pulaski) would add in 11 points tonight.
The Cougars trailed 34-14 at the half, and shot 21% from the field. Chatham would outscore the Presidents in the second half 41-32, but it would not be enough to earn the victory.

The Cougars are back on the court Wednesday February 3^rd at 7:30 pm when they travel to Greenville, Pa. to take on the Thiel College Tomcats.
