Cougars Suffer Tough Loss To Bearcats; 66-49

Box Score PITTSBURGH, PA - JANUARY 27th, 2016 -- The Chatham University Men's Basketball Team lost to the Saint Vincent College Bearcats tonight in conference play by a final score of 66-49. The Cougars are now 4-14, 4-7 PAC. The Cougars would lead after the first twenty minutes of action but the veteran group of Bearcats would take control of the final twenty minutes and win by 17 points.

Two Cougars finished the game in double figures. First Year Isaiah Brown (Scott, Ark. / North Pulaski) led the Cougars in scoring with 14 points with 4 assists. First Year Nasir Alexander (Kissimmee, Fla. / Osceola) scored 10 points. First Year Alex Schoppen (Gibsonia, Pa. / Pittsburgh Central Catholic) and Sophomore Logan Hunter (Greensburg, Pa. / Hempfield Area) led the Cougars in rebounding with 5 each. Hunter had 4 assists.

The Cougars are back on the court Saturday January 29^th when they host the Presidents of Washington and Jefferson College at 3 pm.
