Chatham Triumphs Over Westminster; 68-46

Box Score PITTSBURGH, PA - JANUARY 23rd, 2016 -- The Chatham University Women's Basketball team hosted the Westminster Titans today in a conference game. The Cougars beat the Titans 68-46.

Three starters for the Cougars scored in the double digits. First Year Katelyn Sieg (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Serra Catholic) led the team in scoring with 21 points. She went 8-14 in the paint and 3-6 from beyond the arc. Sophomore Megan Sieg (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Serra Catholic) finished with 12 points, 8 steals, and 4 rebounds. Senior Rachel McClain (Hollidaysburg, Pa. / Hollidaysburg) finished with 10 points and 4 assists. Junior Jesse Hinkle (Jefferson Hills, Pa. / Thomas Jefferson) finished with an impressive 9 rebounds. Junior Nikki Ingel (Irwin, Pa. / Norwin) finished with 8 points, 4 assists and 4 steals.

Chatham led the Titans the entire game. At half time, the score was 38-17. The Cougars played aggressively scoring 39 points off of 32 Titan turnovers.

The Cougars are back for another home game Wednesday January 27th when they host the Saint Vincent Bearcats at 6 pm.
