Bomar Leads Cougars To Victory; 66-64

Box Score PITTSBURGH, PA - JANUARY 23rd, 2016 -- The Chatham University Men's Basketball team hosted the Westminster Titans today in a conference game. The Cougars came back from a 15 point deficit to win the game 66-64. The Cougars are now 4-13 overall and 4-6 PAC.

First Year Anthony Bomar led the team in scoring with a career high 20 points this game. He went 6-9 from the field, 5-6 from beyond the arc, and 3-4 from the free throw line. Bomar also had 6 rebounds and 2 assists. First Year Alex Schoppen scored 12 points, with 6 rebounds and 2 assists. First Year Nasir Alexander chipped in 9 points, with 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.

Chatham scored 19 points off of 16 Titan turnovers. The Cougars were down 35-24 at the half. They battled hard and were able to tie the score 6 times in the last 11 minutes. Chatham held the Titans to only shoot 17% from beyond the arc, the Titans went 0-5 in three pointers in the second half.

The Cougars are back on the court Wednesday January 27th at 8 pm when they host the Saint Vincent Bearcats.
