Chatham Falls To Bethany, 88-80

Box Score PITTSBURGH, PA - JANUARY 2nd, 2016 -- The Chatham University Women's Basketball team hosted the Bison from Bethany College this afternoon in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game at the Athletics & Fitness Center on Chatham's campus. The Cougars lost a hard fought battle to the Bison 88-80. Chatham is now 5-6, 1-3 PAC.

Junior Jesse Hinkle (Jefferson Hills, Pa. / Thomas Jefferson HS) and First Year Katelyn Sieg (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Serra Catholic HS) led the Cougars in scoring today. Hinkle finished the game with 20 points, 6 assists and 2 steals. Sieg had 17 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 steals.

The Cougars played hard against the Bison forcing 24 turnovers and scoring 22 points off of them. At half, Bethany led 46-44. Both teams battled back and forth with the lead changing eight times.

The Chatham Women's Basketball team is back in action this Wednesday, January 6th at home against Thiel College at 6 pm.
