Cougars Fall To Wolverines; 69-56

Box Score GROVE CITY, PA – JANUARY 13th, 2016 -- The Chatham University Women's Basketball team traveled to Grove City, Pa. to take on the Grove City College Wolverines. The Cougars lost to the Wolverines 69-56. Chatham is now 6-8 overall and 3-4 in the PAC. 

The Cougars were led by First Year Ashley McClain who scored a game high 16 points, along with 5 rebounds. First Year Katelyn Sieg was the second Cougar to score double digits, finishing the game with 12 points and going 4-4 from the free throw line. Junior Jesse Hinkle led Chatham in rebounds pulling down 8 this game. Hinkle also blocked 2 shots.

The Wolverines played hard against Chatham. This is the 4th straight win for Grove City. Lexie Arkwright from Grove City made a career high 27 points against the Cougars and Laura Buchanan now ties Grove City single-game record with eight blocked shots.

The Chatham University Women's Basketball team will be back on the court January 16th when they travel to Waynesburg, Pa. to take on the Waynesburg University Yellow Jackets at 1:30 pm.
