Cougars Set Season Scoring Record in 7-0 Victory

Box Score PITTSBURGH, PA - SEPTEMBER 28, 2015 - The Chatham Cougars Women's Soccer team (6-1) competed against Washington Adventist University (1-6-1) today, securing a great bounce back win fresh off a loss to Carlow University last week. The Cougars netted 7 Goals today, bringing their season total to 36 Goals, making this year's Cougars Women's Soccer team the best offensive team the university has seen since 2009.

Cougars Women's Soccer set a new team record against Washington Adventist University today in a blow-out 7-0 victory at Varsity Field. The previous team record of 33 Goals on the season was broken at the end of the first half off a goal by First Year Anne Radzanowski (Pittsburgh, PA/Chartiers Valley High School). Radzanowski finished the game with 2 Goals, along with First Year Julie Bruening (Madison, OH/Madison High School) netting her 10th Goal of the season.

The Cougars stifled every offensive attack Washington Adventist could throw at them, forcing the ball into their territory and controlling the tempo of the game from the start. First Year Goalkeeper Emmory Tardivo (Isabella, PA/Brownsville) recorded her 4th shutout of the season. Chatham is off to a stellar 6-1 record and have kept up their aggressive play and, now, record setting offense throughout the season.

The Cougars hit the road and face off against Presidents' Athletic Conference opponent Washington and Jefferson College on October 3rd (Saturday, 3:00).
