Cougars Suffer 3-0 Loss to Tomcats

Box Score PITTSBURGH, PA- SEPTEMBER 24, 2015 - The Chatham University Women's Volleyball team (1-13, 0-6) suffered a 3-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference loss against Thiel (1-12, 1-1) with game score finals that amounted to 12-25, 21-25, 18-25.

On the offensive end, First Year Katelyn Gonos (Kent, OH/Theodore Roosevelt) led the team in kills with five. Senior outside hitter Heathir McIntyre (Ashburn, VA/Broad Run) posted four and First Year outside hitter Maggie Fleiner (McKees Rocks, PA/Montour) followed with four kills as well. First Year setter Emily Brozenick (Pittsburgh, PA/Carlynton) registered a double digit assist night with 15.

On defense, First Year Abbey Little (Slippery Rock, PA/Slippery Rock) led the team with 15 digs. Heathir McIntyre added 12 of her own, and Maggie Fleiner recorded eight.

Chatham will travel to Waynesburg in a conference match on Tuesday, September 29 starting at 7:00 pm.
