Chatham Loses Late to Waynesburg, 3-2

Box Score PITTSBURGH, PA - OCTOBER 24, 2015 - The Cougars Women's Soccer team dropped their 6th game of the season today in a hard fought game against the Waynesburg University Yellow Jackets. Junior Skylar Benjamin (Strongsville, OH/Strongsville High School) scored each of the Cougars goals in the 3-2 loss.

The Cougars lost 3-2 in a physical game against Waynesburg University today, as Chatham celebrated Senior Day for the Women's Soccer team. Seniors Sarah Jugovic (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin High School) and Auralia Henderson (Palmyra, PA/Palmyra Area High School) were honored for both academics and athletics today as Chatham played in their last home game this season. Both Seniors played aggressiely in the rainy match against the Yellow Jackets, applying pressure early on in the first half.

Junior Skylar Benjamin led the Cougars offensively, netting two back-to-back goals within 10 seconds of each other. First Year Kassianna Politis (McMurray, PA/Peters Township High School) assisted on both of Benjamin's goals, finishing with her 10th and 11th Assists of the year. Politis now leads the Cougars in Assists.

The Cougars travel to Latrobe, PA to face off against Saint Vincent College this upcoming Wednesday (October 28th).
