Cougars Lose in Final Seconds to Geneva

Box Score PITTSBURGH, PA - OCTOBER 14, 2015 - The Chatham University Women's Soccer team (7-4, 1-3 PAC) traveled to Geneva College today to take on the Golden Tornadoes (5-6, 1-3 PAC).

Cougars fought hard against the Golden Tornadoes, yet in the last two seconds of the game, Geneva scored the game winning goal. The final score was 4-5. Chatham led the Golden Tornadoes in goals for the first 80 minutes of play.

First Year Goalkeeper Emmory Tardivo (Isabella, Pa. / Brownsville Area High School) had 11 saves this game. Megan Sieg (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Serra Catholic High School) led the team with one goal and two assists. Kassianna Politis (McMurray, Pa. / Peters Township High School) had one goal and one assist. Julie Bruening (Madison, Ohio / Madison High School) also scored one goal.

The Cougars will return to action here at Chatham's Varsity Field this Saturday October 17^th at 2 pm to play Thiel College.
