Box Score Beaver Falls, PA - (01/10/14) - The Chatham University basketball team hit the road on Saturday afternoon for a PAC conference game against Geneva College. The Golden Tornadoes would prevail in a closely fought contest over the Cougars 80-68.
Leading the way for the Cougars was junior guard
Anna Shashura (Deemston, PA) with 18 points and three assists. Sophomore forward
Jesse Hinkle (Jefferson Hills, PA) also had a big day with 17 points and seven rebounds.Â
Chatham led by as many as four points in the first half, but could not over come the strong rebounding efforts of Geneva, who outrebounded the Cougars by 23 on the game.
The Cougars will be back on the court at home against Grove City on Wednesday, January 14th at 6 PM.
