Volleyball wraps up weekend at La Roche College

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Chatham University women's volleyball team dropped the final match of the weekend to the Yellow Jackets of Waynesburg University.

The Cougars dropped the match in consecutive sets falling, 25-11, 25-21, and 25-7. The Cougars fought hard and came close to winning the second set of the match only falling to the Yellow Jackets by four points.

Sophomore outside hitter, Heathir McIntyre, who finished the match with fourteen digs and two aces, led the Cougars. Chatham's Libero Jessica "Hunter" Milroy played well in Saturday's game with tallying five digs. Senior outside hitter Aminata Dieng led the offensive attack with four kills and a block.

Chatham will be back in action at Grove City for a conference match on Wednesday, Sept. 10. Match time is set for 6:30 p.m.
